THREE MONTHS

HPD shows they're on the ball again. 2, count em, 2 officers show up - at the library no less - to take another statement for the theft of my tax transcripts.

Such service. I have to submit to another memory test, three months later, in order to have a statement included with my report.

They say it's discretionary, since it was not classified as a "crime" since I could not put a dollar value on the paper the tax transcripts were printed on.

I was also asked this question by Lisa Acksionczyk. She was not a stickler for the monetary value rule. Officer Acksionczyk said my statement that I gave no one permission to take the backpack was what designated a theft. I find this level of consistency prevalent in HPD.
